When you think of Ireland, you mostly think of meat and potatoes, corned beef and hash, everything not vegan. But in actuality, Ireland, especially Dublin, has a thriving vegan community. The Saucy Cow

The saucy cow is a casual fast food eatery perfect for a quick meal that will get your taste buds excited. They have everything from burgers, fries, milkshakes, all without the cow. We got the choripan sausage dish and the soy-rizo wrap. Both were delicious, plus they have yummy cocktails!

The Rolling Donut

Looking for a sweet treat after a long day of trekking the Dublin City Streets, then the Rolling Donut is for you. This is perfect for both vegans and non-vegans alike. They have all different types of donuts, but they also have a great selection of vegan donuts, which are divine. Cedric got the caramelized biscuit vegan donut and I got the vegan Ferrera Roche donut. We were in heaven! Pair it with their vegan hot chocolate for those chilly Dublin spring days.

Cornucopia

This is an all-vegan eatery with brunch, lunch, dinner and desserts. This place is slightly more pricey than the last two, but there's definitely a lot more options to choose from. The food is really good, and they also have yummy lattes. Every vegan that visits Dublin has to check out this spot!

Camile

Camille is an Ireland staple with multiple locations. This inexpensive option is great for vegans on the go. They have about ten vegan Thai food options that you can order from a kiosk and eat to go or at the venue. This is not as delicious as the three spots I mentioned above, but it's definitely good if you're in a pinch.

Freddy's

Freddy's is an adorable Italian eatery in the heart of Galway. This is a great spot to take your non-vegan friends because they have delicious options for all types of eaters. We went there for their vegan pizza and we were so happy to chow down. A wonderful spot with delicious pizza. Would highly recommend checking it out.

The Hungry Veggie

This is a hidden gem. The Hungry Veggie is a food trailer that sits outside of The Rock Shop in Liscannor. We found them on the way to the Cliffs of Moher. They offer fast food options and in house made vegan hot dogs and hamburgers. It's very delicious and very cute.

The Lighthouse Vegetarian Cafe (Fave Vegan Brekky)

This place wins the award for the best vegan breakfast I had in Ireland. Located in the heart of Galway, this adorable eatery has a full vegan breakfast or vegan bacon and tofu scramble. They were delish! Affordable pricing as well. I would highly recommend going here for breakfast if you are in Galway. Whether you're vegan or vegetarian!

Greens & Co. (Fave Vegan Lunch)

Also located in Galway, this vegan place is great for breakfast or lunch, reasonable prices, indoor and outdoor seating, and many vegan options. Their biscoff latte was delightful and their fried tofu Caesar salad is something I'm still dreaming about now!

Fidelity (Fave Vegan Dinner - Hidden Gem Alert!)

We found this restaurant by accident. This place is not located on Happy Cow. We found through a quick Google search that this hip Asian bistro has many vegan options! You order the meals like tapas and they come out, which is dangerous because you're gonna want to keep ordering more and more. These were some of the most delicious vegan tapas I have ever had in my whole life. I wish I could go there right now for dinner!

Sprout & Co.

Sprout Kitchen is another Ireland staple with multiple locations throughout the country. The one I went to was located right next to Trinity College, so it was a favorite spot for all the college kids. Sprout Kitchen offers healthy foods at low costs. To create a vegan dish, you just make your own bowl and add what you want. To be honest, it's not the most delicious out of this list, but it's definitely great in a pinch.

It's a Trap

This place has delicious breakfasts! Burritos, coffee, tofu scramble. A vegan perfect morning pick me up! Everyone online raved about this place. The only major downside is that there is practically NO indoor seating, maybe about three spots total. They have outside seating but in the Spring the weather is too fickle to trust the outdoors. I would suggest getting something to go and eating at a park nearby.

Glas (Overrated)

Glas is Dublin's fanciest vegan restaurant. This place is pricey, so it's best to go here for a special celebration, such as a birthday or an an anniversary. We went here on the last night of our trip to celebrate. Everything was beautiful and delicious. However, the portions were so small that we actually ended up having to get an impossible burger at Burger King afterwards, lol. 😆

POG

Pog is a not a full vegan eatery, it's just a general brunch spot with locations All around Ireland. The POG I visited was located on the Howth Island. This location was very cute with pink chairs and a super friendly staff. They did not mind me filming myself eating at the end, haha.

Honorable Mentions:

Bambino

This famous pizza spot located in Dublin was highly recommended for their vegan pizza. As you can see from my video above, we tried to wait in line, but every time we went back to this place there was a mile line out the door. So unfortunately, we did not get to try it, but everyone says it's delicious.

Guinness Storehouse

While we were at the Guinness Storehouse tour, their eatery actually had a pretty good vegan sausage pastry wrap. If you want to see more about that experience, check out my blog article and video here.

Belvedere Irish Step Dancing Show

We saw this super fun Irish Death Dancing show in the heart of Dublin. We were pleasantly surprised that they had vegan options on their menu to eat during the show. They had a great Beyond Sausage vegan dish well that they called Irish Vegan Bangers and Mash, haha. Overall, whether you're vegan or vegetarian, Ireland has options for you, and not just in Dublin! We were able to find plenty of things in Galway, Howth and more! So vegans, don't be afraid of the luck of the Irish for your next trip.
